Linda Manley

Writer and Editor

Linda Manley
Linda earned her BBA and MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and was employed by a private university for over 11 years. At the university, she served as research director, overseeing the staff of 15 research advisors and granting institutional approval to the master's theses written by students. She also managed the curricula of the five graduate and undergraduate business degree programs and provided the university with editing services for course descriptions, class schedules, the catalog, and the student handbook.

After retiring from her university position, she started a home-based editing service, Edits For Scholars, which has enabled her to continue to provide support to students and the academic community. Writing and editing for IslandWeb Ventures websites has been a natural extension of her passion for the written word.

When Linda tires of Midwest winters, she looks forward to vacationing in the tropics. An avid cruising traveler, she has been enchanted by the many beautiful places she has visited. Since joining Dave in both marriage and travel, she has discovered new places both at sea and on land.

You can find more about Linda at her website, EditsForScholars.com or on Facebook at Edits for Scholars.
